Vix Technology (USA) Inc has reached a civil settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding a COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan.

The settlement relates to eligibility criteria applied during the early stages of the pandemic by previous leadership.

Since that time, Vix has undergone [a full leadership transition](https://vixtechnology.com/news/aaron-ross-appointed-ceo-to-lead-next-chapter-at-vix-technology/) and business restructuring. Our current executive team has worked proactively and transparently with the authorities to resolve the matter, without any admission of wrongdoing.

The settlement has no impact on our current operations, financial position, or future growth plans.
